After months of telling myself to do it, I finally got around to making a public Facebook page for myself!
Honestly, the concept still feels a little weird to me. I mean, attention has never made me uncomfortable. I love to act, model, cosplay; so obviously, I'm okay with it. But I dunno, I feel like making a page for myself is like the ultimate symptom of an inflated ego. And it's not even as if I think that about other people with pages for their cosplay/modeling/misc other art! It's just some dumb double standard I hold (held) myself to.
But now that I've gotten over myself, facebook.com/IrisRayPage has gone live. n_n

WOW, I know I haven't posted an entry on dA in ages. But, that makes these occasions all the more special, I guess?
Anyway, the news I'm bringing today is that my Model Mayhem page was approved! To be frank, it's not really an incredible feat, given some of the other work I've seen on there so far. But still, I never considered myself modeling seriously, so this is cool for me. I'm mostly looking forward to the options this opens up for me to network with photographers and other creative people.

MomoCon 2012: SUCCESS

Still feeling euphoric from MomoCon this past weekend, and I'll be living off of it until Dragon*Con.
I just can't get over how intensely the brony fandom represented. Two awesome meetups/photoshoots, cosplayers that dressed up as ponies all weekend, and just an overwhelming sense of friendship and camaraderie. I've never gotten more compliments on any cosplay like I did for Fluttershy, making all the time and money I invested so much more than worth it. It was thrilling to hear "Fluttershy is my favorite!" or "Seriously, you are adorable." As I was riding up the escalator one afternoon, I heard a little voice calling "Fluttershy!" I looked

Hello,my name is Trinity,and I'm going to Momocon 2014 with my aunt.I was wondering you could be--or know anyone that could--be a Marshall Lee and an Ash Ketchum from Adventure Time and Pokemon.
On Friday is Adventure Time and Saturday is Pokemon.For Adventure Time we're doing a zombie apocalypse,and the Marshall Lee would be a survivor along with Fionna,with a zombie Prince Gumball.
For Pokemon,it would be an alternate universe where everything was creepy,pale,and overall dark.Ash would be pale and have bags under his eyes,and look out of touch with the world,with his two pokemon--Pikachu and Charizard--who are twisted.Pikachu with long talons,patchy fur,and a stingy appearance.Charizard as an actual dragon,with ripped wings,sharp teeth,and rough claws.
I would love if you could reply as soon as possible,and every bit of information is appreciated.Thank you for your time,

Oh my GOSH, I love both of these concepts so much. Unfortunately, I can't be able to do either part. I have my cosplays lined up already, and I also won't be there the majority of Saturday; I have a wedding to photograph that day.
However, could I photograph your cosplay groups? :3 This is right up my alley aesthetically, and I'd LOVE to get some shots of it! I'm an image student at The Creative Circus, I would just kill to add this to my portfolio. <3
